Clear Sky Wellness, PLLC provides compassionate, individualized psychiatric mental health care for adolescents and adults. Our goal is to make high-quality mental health services accessible through both in-person appointments in Detroit Lakes and Hawley, Minnesota, and telehealth appointments for eligible patients in Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Hawaii.

Clear Sky Wellness, PLLC offers telehealth psychiatric mental health services for eligible patients in Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Hawaii.

Telehealth can make psychiatric care more accessible for people who live in rural communities, have transportation challenges, maintain busy work or family schedules, or simply prefer the convenience of receiving care from home.

Depending on your clinical needs and location, telehealth services may include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up appointments, and ongoing mental health treatment.

Telehealth is not appropriate for every situation. Your provider may recommend in-person care, emergency evaluation, additional testing, or another level of treatment when necessary.

In-Person Mental Health Care

For patients who prefer face-to-face appointments or whose clinical needs are better addressed in person, Clear Sky Wellness, PLLC provides in-person psychiatric mental health care at our Detroit Lakes and Hawley clinics.

Our Detroit Lakes clinic provides in-person psychiatric mental health services for patients in Detroit Lakes and surrounding communities.

Patients may receive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up care, and ongoing treatment for a variety of mental health concerns. Our goal is to provide accessible, personalized care while building a long-term therapeutic relationship based on communication and shared decision-making.

Hawley, MN

Our Hawley clinic provides in-person psychiatric mental health care for patients in Hawley and surrounding rural communities.

Johanna Christensen, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

Johanna Christensen is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides comprehensive, individualized care at Clear Sky Wellness, PLLC.

Her approach to psychiatric care emphasizes listening carefully to each patient’s concerns, understanding the whole person, and developing treatment plans collaboratively. She provides psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions, medication management, and ongoing follow-up care.

Her background in both family medicine and psychiatric mental health allows her to consider the relationship between physical and mental health when evaluating and treating patients.

Johanna provides in-person care at the Detroit Lakes and Hawley clinics as well as telehealth services for eligible patients.
