I am a rural healthcare provider passionate about caring for the hardworking people of Minnesota, North Dakota, and Hawaii. I bring years of emergency department experience and translate that fast-paced, team-based practice into efficient, compassionate urgent care. I also have meaningful public health and mental health experience as a case manager, supporting individuals and families through assessment, care coordination, and connection to community resources. My education includes a Post-Graduate Certificate as a Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from Purdue University Global, a Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Mary, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a Minor in Music from the University of Jamestown. I have completed advanced training and certifications including Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS) Trauma and Provider Course, Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Clinically, I focus on mental health through medication management, psychoeducation, and connection to supportive services, and on urgent care through rapid assessment, stabilization, and evidence-based treatment of acute concerns. My approach blends clinical excellence with small-town accessibility, meeting patients where they are with clear communication, timely access, and wholehearted compassion. Outside of work, I enjoy kettlebell training and making music, including playing the ukulele, organ, piano, violin, and flute.
